Valentina initially joined JLL South Africa in early 2017 from JLL Dubai, where she had engaged in Property and Asset Management and Advisory from 2013. Prior to her real estate career, Valentina was working in banking for three years.
Valentina joined the JLL Leasing team in South Africa to head up the newly formed Agency division. In her role she delivers advice on property market trends, reduction of portfolio vacancies, financial advice on lease structure, strategies to reduce occupation costs and improve workflow efficiency, assistance in lease terms (re)negotiation and relocation. Together with the team, Valentina provides landlord advisory and commercialisation services to investors and landlords and has been involved on several high profile and complex assets in South Africa and across other SSA countries.
Academically, Valentina possess a PhD Degree in Linguistics, a Masters Degree in Finance (specialising in Banking), a Certificate in Real Estate Finance and Investment (from Harvard University Extension School), and is a LEED Green Associate.
